What is wrong with you people? "The mission statement of the Christian Coalition International Canada includes six objects, namely:..To protest anti-Christian bigotry." But, as long as the bigotry is supported by a Christian, it's ok? Somehow, I think Jesus would disagree with that. Do you think that if a same-sex couple is married, that means you have to go out and find a same-sex partner? You don't, just so that's clear. That's no different than thinking, "Oh, Jews get married? That's so wrong! I'm not a Jew, so Jews can't be wed!" Just because someone different than you gets married, or has rights, doesn't mean you have to be like them, or even agree with them. It's still THEIR LIFE to make their decision, NOT YOURS. I have a beautiful wife. If my gay friends get married, I'm not going to lose my wife, or any of my freedoms and rights. It affects me in no way whatsoever. Asside from knowing that people still have a right to FAIRNESS and JUSTICE as long as they're not bothe ring anybody else. ...You make me sick.
Dear ...You make me sick, Sorry, marriage is not for private friendships of people of the same sex. Anybody can be friends with anyone. But every man or woman can choose to get married. There is no discrimination. Marriage means wedding someone of the opposite sex. Having a homosexual involvement signifies a type of behavior of a sexual nature. Marriage is not for that, it is for establishing a family unit in which children are born and nurtured. The idea that "same sex marriage" does not affect anyone else is hogwash. All of society is affected by such a radical change in social conventions as "same sex marriage" would represent. Children would grow up with the notion, compulsory taught in public schools, that when they are adults it would be just as normal to "marry" a person of the same sex as to marry a person of the opposite sex. You can bet your dollar that this is what would be the result, since the radical controlled Human Rights Commissions and the new Hate Crimes Commissions would punish anybody that dared to publicly state the opposite. How do you think you got into the world? By one of the nameless faces of men who just go around impregnating women? No, you were most likely born out of a heterosexual marriage relationship.Hopefully you had loving parents who raised you with love and care. Silly me; I'd always assumed that I married my wife because we are in love. So, what about the
impotent and the barren? Are they not allowed to marry? My wife and I have no plans of ever having
children. Does that mean that law enforcement could bust into our home at any moment to take away
our "fraudulent" marriage license!? Somehow, I doubt that it works that way.
This narrow-minded bigot also claims that allowing same-sex marriages would eventually cause
same-sex partnerships to be seen as normal. ...Oh, no! "Gasp", I say! Two people in love,
"normal"!? Oh, the humanity! ...Seriously though, what would be wrong with that? I see people of
different religious and ethnic backgrounds from me getting married all the time. I don't think that
I have to be a black Jew just because I saw one get married. If anybody has a problem seeing this,
my first advice is to GROW UP. After that, if you still can't handle it, please go hide away in a

Dear bigot, Your argument that marriage can only be for people of the opposite sex is that marriage is to begin a family that can produce children. Really? Here I always thought that it was for love. I had always assumed that I married my wife because we are in love with each other. So, if a person is impotent or barren, does that mean that he or she is not allowed to be married? We don't plan on having children. Are the police going to bust in here and take our marriage license from us? I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. As to your idea that same-sex marriage would one day be considered "normal"; what's wrong with that? It is normal! At least it should be. It is just as normal as a heterosexual marriage. It would not encourage children into thinking that it was MORE normal than heterosexuals marrying anymore so than them seeing a Jewish person being married would make them think that they too have to become a Jew before they can marry. I'm sorry that your views on things are so perversely askew, but you shouldn't strip others of their RIGHTS just because you're so pathetically affraid of anyone different than yourself. You don't want to see it? Then go hide in a cave somewhere and leave the rest of us alone to our peaceful lives.
Dear Intolerant, Thanks for calling anyone who disagrees with your perverse views that a relationship predicated on acts of sodomy somehow should be considered equivalent to heterosexual marriage. It should not! The Canadian Constitution recognizes matrimony, which exists between man and a woman only as a marriage. Marriage is essentially an institution designed to bring people together to bond in matrimony and produce offspring. Planes are designed to fly, but they can remain on the runway. A plane is still for flying. Similarly can married people decide not to have children, that is their perogative, but it does not change the purpose of marriage. Marriage is still to further the human race, and people who don't or won't have children will go nowhere in terms of their family linage. It will end with themselves. Only you would say that what is common sense to 99% of mankind that marriage is connected to and designed for the nurture and raising of families is a bigoted view. Ask yourself if this view is not morally bankrupt! Dear Intolerant, (since I am the one with tolerance here...grab a dictionary, and see) Yes, I am indeed a man married to a woman. I can show you photos from our wedding and our marriage license if you would like that. I, Benjamin Kubilus, legally married Dana Kubilus on June 17th of 2004. We recently had our wedding ceremony with our friends and family on August 15th. As to my "blistering" intolerance; I am in love. I could not imagine being told that it is wrong for me to be in love with my wife and that I cannot be with her. Therefore, I cannot and will not ever stand for one second a person being told that he or she is not allowed to be in love with whomever that person is in love with. How could anybody ever deny that to a person, and sleep well at night? You are right. A plane can stay on the runway, even though it was made for flight. But, since that's ALL it is made for, if it is not in flight for a length of time, it is destroyed or parted our for other machinery. So, no, marriage is not for continuing the human race. Sex is for that. Marriage is for love. Marriage is for devotion. Marriage is for honor and respect of two people. SEX is for procreation. Marriage has absolutely nothing to do with sex in and of itself. Yes, married people often and usally chose to have sex with oneanother. But, they could do that wed or not. My wife and I at times enjoy going out to a movie. Does this mean that marriage is for seeing movies together, since afterall most married couples do go to the movies from time to time. I am rather enjoying how you have less and less argument each time. Where, by the way are you getting your ridiculous data from? 99% of mankind, huh? I'm thinking more like 30%, or less. 99% of the ruling governments, perhaps. Though, I doubt that as well. Please, see the humanity in yourself. Stop this blind, ignorant hate. Agreeing with it or not is your choice. What's not your choice is telling others what they have to think, and forcing them to live your way regardless. You are encouraging the oppression of a people. A people who mean you no harm. People were once affraid of giving blacks rights. The laws said that they couldn't have rights. The laws were wrong. People stood up to right that wrong and give people of all races equal rights (as long as they're a certain kind of person--we're still working on that ;-))and we are all the better because of it. We're not talking about criminals. Being homosexual doesn't mean you're going to go out and rape, pillage, rob, and plunder. It doesn't mean you're going to start up a recruiting station and try to convert people to being gay. A heterosexual person won't be converted gay any more than a homosexual person can be converted straight. They are just as normal as you and I. They can't help being who they are, and shame on you for saying otherwise. I hope that you have done a lot of praying, because I don't know if even that is enough to atone for the pure hate and fear you are encouraging now. People are different than you. Dear Intolerant, You are impossible to dialogue with. You have a completely biased mindset and view of people who disagree with your radical stance on marriage as being full of hatred and bigoted. There is nothing hateful in saying that marriage is for procreation, nor is it hateful to state that sex should only be taking place within a committed marriage relationship.This is what almost all major religions teach, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Shikism, etc. Billions of people believe this and live this in their daily lives. Surely you conveniently disconnect sex from marriage and then claim that marriage is for love only. If this were true a man could marry his daughter. Well pardon me, sex is part of the marriage package. God created them male and female, not male and male. The sexes are biologically complementary, and not identically dysfunctionally disconnected. Homosexual sex is called an abomination by the religions of the world. Only the corrupt decadent western societies, as you are promoting, are taking a view of homosexual sex as something noble, and wholesome. Go read some medical reports on the consequences of homosexual sexual abuse of the human body, and the multitude diseases it inflict upon its practictioners, and perhaps you will smell the coffee. We don't need this homosexual agenda forced down our throats by activists such as yourself. And we do have the right to differ in a free and democratic society.
